No distance from targeted objects

I took a contract that made me expand my space station in kerbin orbit.  I went to dock with the station, and there was no distance tracker when I was in the staging view.  I still can dock without them, but it is a lot harder.  It is also for all things tracked in the staging view.  I need help.

F4 disables vessel indicators in "staging" view. Chances are you pressed it while quicksaving (F5).

I think it resets when you restart the game, if the game is still running, simply press F4 to get the indicators/distances back.
