Our school network is getting a certificate error on https://server.kerbalspaceprogram.com so cannot run.

just browsing to that address gets:

Your connection is not private

Attackers might be trying to steal your information fromserver.kerbalspaceprogram.com (for example, passwords, messages or credit cards).

NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID

Any ideas?

You get this error because the SSL certificate is only valid for kerbalspaceprogram.com, it's not valid to use on the sub-domain like server.kerbalspaceprogram.com.

To use this website, you can click on the Advanced link and choose to Proceed to the website to use it.

If you want to bypass this temporarily, add the following tag to your Google Chrome browser shortcut:

--ignore-certificate-errors

Sorry my post was not clear enough. We cannot get KerbalEdu to run, it gets as far as making a request to the license server on port 443 and then hangs. My technical support team tried to access the same server via a browser and got the certificate error.

The bottom line is that we cannot get KerbalEdu to run on our network. Any troubleshooting ideas would be appreciated

thank you
