A forum user, @paulprogart, wrote this nice mod to customize the loading screen.  I also contributed a lot of code to it to provide it with a settings page.   For some reason, he decided to pull the mod.  If there was an explanation, it doesn't exist any more.  The license allows me to revive it.  I've tried to contact him, no response. So, even though he would prefer not, I am reviving this now.  The mod is incredibly useful and fun. Original thread is here:  http://forum.ke
