Action menu not working on Enhanced Edition?

Anyone else having issues getting the part action menu up on all presets when in assembly building?

Turns out you may need to restart your console after downloading!

What preset are you in? Do you have a cursor? Exactly what do you mean by an "action menu"? Can you post a picture?

I play on xbox I try all preset I have a cursor its the curser actions if you press b or x your supose to open a windows for my that does nothing but when I start the games with my old controllers all controls work fine if i switch battery after i start the game its ok but if i start the game with my new controllers the curser actions menu doesn't work

Found I can generally open the action menu window, though opening the correct one can be a bit hit & miss as its not always the part highlighted on screen that opens.

Can be a real pain closing them though - they have a "pin" button, could we get a "X" close button as well?

I have this problem as well. Very frustrating and annoying. I try restarting my Xbox but the problem is still there. I find if I start playing another game and then go back to ksp the problem SOMETIMES resolves itself like magic. I have no clue what the issue is or what can be done to solve it. I hope an update patch comes out soon to fix it.

The only solution I’ve found that will make it work about half the time is using a different controller

I've had the same problem. When I hover over a part and press 'x' nothing happens. It's as though I haven't pressed a button.

Playing on Xbox, using the standard preset. Tested in both VAB and in flight.

I've tried restarting, deleting and redownloading, redownloading and restarting, switching controllers, switching to a different game and back.

Same issue here. No part action menu. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and still nothing. 

After experiencing this issue and returning to the main menu, pressing X to sign out my user/ switch user does not work. I don’t know if this is related.

Pressing X to switch users works when first starting the game, but after playing and returning to the menu, it does not.

same here, seems to be working a lot better, just the usual issue over it selecting the crew hatch unless you are very careful

The update fixed it for me, but then I attempted the docking training scenario and it killed the action menu again.

Noting now I'm starting to use craft with more parts on the Eggbox that the controls become a lot less responsive, its like you need to press the button at the right moment when the game is watching the controller - not taking and queuing controller inputs to process when its busy

See here. No action menu. Uninstalled, deleted all saves, reinstalled, restarted, changed controllers, etc. over and over. got new patch. still nothing. e-mailed support, and they basically told me to wait for a fix... smh

Yes, I fixed by turning my controller off in-game. Then turn on a second controller and sign into your profile.

Second controller now works properly.

In addition, the first controller when switched back on) Now behaves.
