Hi! I am new in the game and I have a Direct3D error.

Recommended Posts

When I started KSP, an error showing, "Failed to initialize Direct3D. Make sure you have at least DirectX 9.0c installed, have drivers for your graphics card and have not disabled 3D acceleration
in display settings. InitializeEngineGraphics failed.
" I have DirectX 11 but the game doesn't respond that, please help!

We're gonna need a little bit more to try to work this out.  What kind of graphics card do you have?  Are your drivers up to date?

1) Where can I found the status of graphics card?

2) I have a VGA driver.

Open "My Computer" (on win 8 or newer, it is listed as "This PC").  Right click any empty space in the "Devices and Drives" part of the window that pops up.  Click "Properties" and then find "Device Manager" in the window that pops up.  In Device Manager, scroll down and click "Display adapters."  The item under display adapters is your graphics card.  Clicking it will tell you if it's working properly and if your drivers are up to date.

Based on what you've already said, I'm going to hazard a guess that you've got an integrated graphics card, in which case it may not be powerful enough to run KSP.
