[Solved][1.2.2] RSS heavy modded (76) crashes on launch

Hello,

I just came back to wanting to play KSP

I used to play a lot on RSS and RP0, so I know about the game crashing if the amount of memory is not enough. I monitored the launch of the game but I had still 6GB of free memory when it crashed.

It might be because of outdated mod. I watched a video from Scott Manley where he is whowing how to install RSS (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0a6PLkDUWF4). You can see that when he launches the game, it tells him that 3 mods are outdated (same as me, except for KJR) but the main menu still shows. So I don't understand here what's going on.

 

The version I am playing on is 1.2.2 from GOG (Windows 7, 12GB RAM). I used CKAN to download and install the mods necessary for RSS.

 

Reproduction :

The game crashes when all mods are loaded, just before the main menu.

 

On the launch of the game, 4 mods are said to be outdated : 

- Kerbal Joint Reinforcement

- SCANsat

- Semi Saturable RW

- Ven's Stock Revamp

 

I didn't tried to remove them as I want them on my modlist.

On their webpage, those mods are updated for 1.2, and their next release is for 1.3. I guess that is why it is considered to be outdated ?

I managed to get to the Main Menu.

The outdated mods weren't part of the problem. However I installed RSSVE and Scatterer manually. Apparently it did the job.
