Single launch to land on all planets. Except jool.

So, one launch on kerbin, one landing on all planets and moons, and return and land safely on kerbin. Fully stock. Mining is allowed. staging out empty fuel tanks are also allowed.

Quickest to do all this without cheats wins.

There's a challenge for this already....the Ultimate Challenge which I am completing right now.

I think the ultimate challenge allows multiple launches to assemble a vehicle in orbit. 

Still, very similar.

The fun here is single launch. 

Should be harder than the multiple launches.

I am sure it has been done before, although the 1.4x changes coukd invalidate previous achievements

Also, The Ultimate Challenge specifically requires landing a single kerbal on all planets and moons. I can't quite tell from this challenge, as currently written, whether unmanned landings count or not. If they do, that helps considerably. Especially if recovering the landers is not needed, although I guess the "return [...] to Kerbin" part kind of implies that it probably is, since what is there to return otherwise?

Well, it can be a probe. But it can also be a kerbal on chairs. Or a capsule. Or whatever.
