KSP x64 crashes while loading save

Recommended Posts

Hello, i`m using KSP x64 with 12 mods, version 0.24.0.549, and on Steam bought during the 75% sale on KSP

I also have 4 gigs of DDR2, a AMD Radeon 5760 and a Intel Duo 2-Core E7300. (this system is weak)

Plz help me, thanks for the person who solved this problem, so goodbye!

You're on KSP v0.24? Why are you using such an incredibly old (8 years!) version of KSP? More to the point- how did you get that version when it isn't even listed on Steam?

If you got the game on Steam you should have KSP 1.10.1 as that's the newest version. Right click KSP in Steam then click Properties: first try the Betas tab and check it says 'None- opt out of all betas'; if not then change it to say that and see if it updates. If that doesn't work, click the Local Files tab and 'Verify integrity of game files', and if that still doesn't fix it go back to the Betas tab, click that drop-down and select version 1.9.1 (the second most recent version available) and see if that gets downloaded and installed.

first- i am testing the old KSP version 0.24.0.549 with some of my most liked mods (and the old textures).

second- 12 mods with a old version- now here's the point

MAYBE because KSP 0.24.0.549 x64 does not like loading 12 mods at the SAME TIME. Or something is not right in the loading process (mods not working?)? Or possibly CORRUPTION OF MY OLD SAVE.

Notes:

1. My old save WAS from 2012 and has been possibly corrupted. (i only tested it twice)

2. I played on a DEMO.

Just get a new version of KSP (I suggest 1.9.1 as there are a couple of obnoxious bugs in 1.10.x, or 1.7.3 if you want compatibility with a lot of older mods and don’t mind missing out on the newest game and mod features) and use the much bigger and better selection of mods available now instead of trying to force a very old version of the game to run with very old mods.

Unless you have a save game with a lot of progress that you really want to keep, just start a new one; odds are it won’t work in a new version of KSP anyway.
