Space centre screen, graphics load...

Hi,  ksp 1.11.1       windows 8.1       gt1030  2gb ddr5.

After the game loads and go to the space centre, before entering any hangar, my graphics card instantly maxes out and gains 10 degrees C in a couple of seconds,  it's ok everywhere else, so has anybody had similar ?

All drivers etc are up to date and like I say it's just this scene, any help appreciated.

Ok, so I did a clean install and the problem was still there. I found some settings that where being over riden by nvidea control centre and so between that and in game settings I have managed to calm it down a bit, still goes up 10 degrees but slower, stays around 60 instead of 70 degrees....
