how to control the PLAY POSITION of the KAL-1000 using kerboscript (KOS)?

I am trying to build a fully automatic starship using KOS.  I have the flaps controlled by a KAL-9000 of the Breaking Ground DLC, but to have an automatic descent, I need to control the PLAY POSITION of the KAL-9000 using script. does anyone know how to do this?  Thanks in advance.
