Spontaneous ship destruction over Kerbin

Hello,

I launched a mission from the launch pad using the (first) stock/included rocket.

Upon reaching around 78000m and just before initiating my circularisation burn, my vessel spontaneously disappeared / was destroyed and I was greeted with the debrief window.

My engine was off and I had a maneuver node for the circularization setup with 50 seconds to go before the burn.

  • KSP Version - 0.1.0.0.20892
  • Operating System and version  - Windows 11
  • CPU and GPU models - Intel core i5 12600KF / NVIDIA GeFroce RTX 3080
  • Description of the bug.  
    • Expected Behavior - Ship progresses past 70km without issue.
    • Observed Behavior - Ship spontaneously destroyed at 69,998m
  • Steps to Replicate - SSTO with rapier and whiplash engines
  • Fixes / Workarounds (if known..) unknown
  • A list of ALL mods - None
  • Other Notes: See image in spoiler.  Very similar to the above bug report so avoiding creating a new thread.

Ive seen this happen many times now, and when I am able to view the craft before it blows up it looks like the components are having a seizure and they start shaking and the ship blows itself up. I don't know how else to describe it. My theory in my head is that it has something to do with SRS. It feels like SRS can and usually does overcorrect for things, meaning oscillations just keep getting amplified until the ship blows itself up.
