An interesting mission story for all of you.

I decide that my first mission in 0.20 was to reach the Mun. I built myself a new lander craft (completely from scratch).

So I was orbiting the mun and had made my orbit path almost vertical for a good touchdown.

The Skipper engine I used as my transfer and correction stage ran out of fuel, so I pressed Space to decouple it.

It didn't detach!:0.0:

I set the LV-909 on my lander stage to maximum throttle, but we were still dragging several tons of dead weight.

I braced myself as we hit the Mun...

and we bounced.

The rocket's bottom half exploded as the top shot into the air.

I had the foresight to exit the cockpit (the only part to survive, which was odd because it has an impact tolerance of 8)

and jetpack down.

The cockpit landed 200 meters away.

We planted the flag anyway.

Thorvald Kerman is still waiting on the Mun for a rescue. What do I do next?
