Does developers like play game they make?

I love KSP and Total War series.

But i wonder does devs like pay game they made, i mean if you know all the technical stuff behind the game, does anybody enjoy simple pleasure of play.

German Chancellor Bismarck once said, "If you like laws and sausages, you should never watch either one being made" He was referring to politics because, he was politician, but whether the same can not be said computer games ?

...Well, I'd assume so, or else why would they make the game? The KSP devs have stated multiple times that they like to play. In fact, that's how early and major bugs are caught- the team plays through the game before it gets to the experimentals team.

I can tell you I definitely play the games I work/ed on. (Playstation All-Stars, Sunset Overdrive)
