Thinking about taking a trip to Canada...

So I started to think about taking a trip to Canada someday, and I wanted your guys opinion on where to go and what I should do. I was thinking about flying to Calgary and visiting Banff National park. Maybe stay in a hotel at Calgary, enjoy the massive size of the city maybe a bit of shopping and going to get a fresh whiff of air and a breath taking view at Banff National Park. (BTW I live in California, USA)

Never been to Calgary - have fun! (from Toronto, BTW) If you're in Alberta, perhaps think of a trip to see fossils in the badlands perhaps? One of the richest dinosaur spots in the country.
