0.25 OSX problems

I have the following problems to which I can't find solutions:

- research upgrades - the blue icon doesn't appear, even after comp. restarts, so I'm stuck at the third level of upgrades (I have enough points though).

- Launcher: patcher downloaded, I click upgrade and terminal window opens... that is it. What am I suppose to do with it?

Any info is appreciated.

Please read the Stock Support & Bug Reporting Guide. It will tell you what other information we need to help solve the problem.

It's a known issue with no fix, but there are ways to work around the issue so that you can accomplish the two most important uses of Launcher and Patcher (modifying settings and upgrading). See The Mac OS X Thread (link in my signature).
