When you actually click on the individual cards, you'll find they actually rated the 660 a 7.1, so apparently the site screwed up. Additionally, the 610 is given no rating for 3D performance (not a good sign), while the 660 is given 7.4. Further, most of the 610's favourable score comes from a good rating in the power consumption area, which should be no surprise to anyone.

It does seem like they have a very non-linear and not-very-useful scoring system, however. Likely their 0-10 has to include the latest GTX 980s and ancient GeForce 6600s in the same range, not good on such a tight range. This is why most other GPU comparison sites use unlimited scores, and a 6600 will often score on the order of 4000, while a 610 is more likely to be around 400, as seen on the link provided above. What he means by a chasm is that there's an entire order of magnitude between the performance of the two.
