  1. I'm having a lot of problems driving my rovers around (i'm using the same technique as most people with a rover directly attached under my moon base pieces)... if I don't land on a perfectly flat surface, they just keep falling over... and since I don't always land my rocket at the exact location, it's almost impossible... any helps for the rover stability? it's more or less the same model as Temstar expect with 8 wheels, so a bit longer... yet it just keeps tipping over...!!!
  2. Thanks for the info. I'm having a small problem docking my parts. I took your crawler as an example. I got it right under the port of my first hub and retracted the gears. It landed right on top but for some reason didn't redock and merge into one ship... any ideas?
  3. Great post... I'm thinking of stating my own base and was looking around and realized one thing... everybody always uses rovers to move pieces around... so sure this is way cooler and a lot more realistic... but out of simple curiosity, wouldn't it be easier to have all the structures on a standard wheel base that can move around? that way, you don't need a rover and can just move the structures around...
  4. I'll try that... thanks for the info... just need to figure out where that damn key is on a macbook pro...
  5. Hey everybody, I have just landed my first rover on Mun... but I have a small problem that I cant seem to fix... My rover is attached to my landing ship vie a node. So I land the whole ship on Mun with my Kerbal in the ship... but then I have a problem: Either I can make my Kerbal exist the mother ship but I can't get control of the rover and detach it (or even get in) Or I can detach the rover from the ship but then I can only control it (so basicly move the wheels). I can't get the command of my kerbal again to leave the ship and get on the rover... Any ideas...?
