  1. Contract completed. Thank you so much, I figured it was something simple like that. I kept pressing Tab instead xD.

  3. If you aren't against mods, try Kethane, and send a refueling station along for the ride and have infinite dv to potentially even land on all the moons
  4. I added a control surface to the tailfin and an inline radiator from interstellar and things are working pretty well now. It still gets hot, but with the radiator, i can just shut them down for a minute or 2 and they cool down pretty fast. Now i just have to learn how to land it
  5. I've been having problems with jet engines overheating. I've been told that this is likely a conflict between DRE and KSPInterstellar. On my own preliminary investigation though, uninstalling DRE still left my engines overheating. Any advice?
  6. Getting rid of the double fins on the body helped a bit, but i still flat spin... also uninstalling DRE did not fix my engines overheating. Am i just flying to fast? Just used to rockets being able to go pedal to the medal pretty much all the time. Thanks again.

  8. I need help building a science jet for visiting Kerbin's biomes. Like the title says, My jet seems to go into flat spins or flare up and exceed g-forces and kill my pilot after get get over 500-600 m/s in low altitude or even in higher altittudes at 1.5km/s+. How can i help fix this? More control surfaces? reaction wheels? Also, my engines overheat if i keep them at more than just a tiny bit above 0 throttle even though i've got pre-coolers on them. I'd like to know how to fix that too, but stability is more important. Any help is greatly appreciated.

That was kind of the idea. i wanted to see If i could land a ship that big on the mun first because I've got a Jool window coming up soon and I'd like to be able to land on all the moons without sending all of Kerbin's fuel reserves into space xD. If i can get a miner over there, and a refueler which i'm designing right now, then it seems very doable.
  10. macollo that launcher is about 5 times bigger than anything i've ever built... How is the staging for the top part? i can see a couple sections in there but can't quite tell if it's more than 1 lander. Today was my first successful mining mission. It's also the heaviest thing i've tried to land on another planet, so after crashing and quickloading about 7-8 times, it felt sooooo good touching down with this thing! Any thoughts on what you can see of my first miner design? All i wanted it to do was be able to land, refuel, and come home. My first experiment with Kethane went pretty well i think =) (I guess my real first experiment never made it into kerbin orbit... but let's not count that one xD). Next I think i'm gonna make a mining "base" with some extra shuttle stage on it to bring fuel tanks into low orbit and back to refill.
  11. As far as usefulness goes, i'd vote for SlyReaper, but for sheer holy **** that's cool factor, that proton shuttle video left me slackjawed. I want one!
  12. Thanks! That fixed it. Some of the numbers changed for the DRE zip file, so i must have gotten an old version somehow. Probably off of spaceport... Anywho, great mod, keep up the awesome work!
  13. Help me please. Heatshields do not show up in my VAH in career or sandbox mode. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times (just DRE, not entire game). Debug mode shows up and i can burn up on reentry, so the plugin works, i just cant get the parts. Any ideas how to fix? Thanks. I run lots of other various mods, any known conflicts?
  14. Hi there. I just installed the remote tech mod and I'm trying to set up my kerbostationary comm satellites. Everything was going swell until I ran out of charge and everything shut down. "No sweat," I thought, "I'll just wait until sunrise and everything will be peachy again in no time!" Unfortunately that did not happen, and I was left scratching my head about what to do next? Why are my solar panels not giving me my charge back?
