Can i haz that OM with the blue stripe? I would do it myself, but the textures have gone full ******, and 90% of it is nonexistent, yet the textures work fine in ksp.

I'm thinking it should use the same Solar Panels as Tantares. Maybe something a bit larger.
That is three parts:
A 1.25m Hab, a 2.5m Hab and an Adapter Hab.
As for others questions, I'm probably just doing Salyut 1.

What does everyone think? Keep the docking port, or adjust the fairings to just use the standard one?

both were out, although i am assuming those are esthetics and since they have no colliders they dont effect docking at all.

hey orion, just a little oddity to report:
when trying to dock with 2 of your custom docking ports to each other, they bounce in and out and fail to dock: try letting the magnetism pull them each other in, you'll see what i mean. i had to use RCS to reduce the speed of docking to get them to trigger docking.
Were both probes out? You know, the "Boom" as Orion incorrectly calls them. And Orion, could you make a full time male port, as well as a full time female port, along with this Active/Passive one?

And I'm back from my little "hiatus". So about dem Salyut parts, are there going to be Almaz, Salyut 1, Salyut 4, and Salyut 6/7 parts? With IVAs?

Well, the "verniers" won't be actual verniers. They'll just be RCS that uses LFO. And the OMS's will just be normal engines burning MonoProp.

Maybe in 0.24 when we get actual verniers it will be possible for it to function more realistically.
Did they say that they would be coming out with one?

I am an OSX user myself and a lot of the texturing was done on a Macbook running Photoshop CS5! I would recommend using something like the free GIMP Here/ , or even better, Photoshop if you have it. Pasting in a flag image would really be a two minute job and hey, it's always good to learn new skills!

I see the example, but I'd like to keep political / real world stuff out of the mod and just focus on some pleasing alternate colour schemes. The textures are only .TGA format, so you're free to edit and share them.
Well, I mean, you could send me this through dropbox. I have a mac, macs suck at texturing, and I'm too lazy to download a texturing thing and do it myself. So could you do it? Just as a request?

Orion, actually, after this, you should remodel the spud, add a SM, and make a slightly larger one that seats 3 called the turnip.

Hi, the Antenna is just like a regular in-game antenna. It sends the science. If you have RemoteTech2 it can be modified for that. Sadly nothing as useful as the IGLA.

Yeah, Beale, about the textures, Could you just put one up here so I can drag and drop to my desktop? And about the Salyut/Vega, could you make special docking ports like with the actual soyuz?
