  1. Awesome, the Dreamchaser is such an important step forward in terms of re-usability. I had a post in "addons requests" about this so I am super excited about this. All I can offer is bug finding/beta testing assistance as I suck at both modelling and texturing But the offer is there. The fact that Dreamchaser launches on top of the stack means there is no need for the kind of custom LFT/SRB seen with the KSO shuttle. Will you be scaling so that Dreamchaser fits on a 2.5m stack? Looking at the relative sizes in the lower image it seems like that would make sense..just my opinion Note the aerodynamic shroud/mounting.
  2. I was voicing just that sentiment on the development forum a couple of days ago. Great on the desk, maybe a wooden stand. Loving the ship, flies like a dream.
  3. Wow, just wow. Helldiver and Nazari, thankyou so much for this.
  4. No problem, I didn't actually post the optics changes because I was being lazy. All parts re-scaled : "rescaleFactor = 0.65" All three of the processors must also have their config files altered "opticsDistance = 3.4" replaced with "opticsDistance = 2.21" I tried the scope at the smaller scale suggested earlier in the thread and it just looked too dinky, but at 1.25m it still looks like some serious science. Sorry to post so much on your thread Rubber ducky
  5. That worked a treat. Thanks Rubber Ducky both for the Scope and the advice. Now all we need is the KSO to put it in..... Have been messing around with re-sizes and cargo-bays, if the KSO is 2.5m or thereabouts a 1.25m diameter scope should fit in the bay. This means a re-scale factor of 0.65 and with corresponding changes in the "opticsDistance" value(the maths is beyond me ). Can't wait to re-enact STS-61.
  6. This is looking absolutely staggering. Helldiver, after this is released any chance of posting up the model of the shuttle before it was separated into parts? I know someone with a serious 3-D printer and the idea of having a model KSO sitting on my desk while I fly missions with the virtual one excites my nerd parts!
  7. Tried that, I get a "the optics aren't aligned" error. I rescaled the parts with 0.65 factor and they all fit right but the 'scope won't work.
