Ok, this thread already died twice, but the problem is still there so why not revive it?
My idea of procedural parts would be this:

This is pretty much what AngelLestat was trying to get across.

Hey, all!
I'm new-ish to the forum. I've been browsing on and off for quite some time (since 0.19?) and have played KSP on and off since 0.18. I found this game when a friend of mine was playing this in between finals at school and got me into getting the demo. Needless to say, I got hooked but not quite.
I've been really into KSP especially a lot lately since the more recent updates with more parts, science, and career mode! I'm a real amateur when it comes to exploring space, though. I don't play for a long enough period of a time to complete an actual mission, but now that finals are out of the way and high school has long since ended, I decided to dust off my KSP Shortcut on the desktop and finally actually play it for once!
Thought I'd finally make an account and start posting every so often.
Here is a recent mission I made in career mode to collect some science in Mun orbit:

There are only three images because I didn't think to document at the time, but I definitely want to write stories in the future!
Mods I currently have installed (I don't necessarily use them often, if at all):
- B9 Aerospace
- Chatter
- Hull Camera
- Kerbal Attachment System
- KSP Interstellar
- KW Rocketry
- Lazor Docking Camera
- B9 Aerospace
What did you do in KSP1 today?

Jeb finally went to the North Pole without catastrophe and having to abort!
Using the Atlas II rocket, the capsule was able to reach orbit without any problems. On previous missions, the Atlas II malfunctioned almost every time, each time. Needless to say, it has been difficult to find volunteers.
The pictures below were taken after touchdown as mission control couldn't figure out how to turn the cameras on until after the craft was stationary. Atlas III, and later models, thankfully do not need to be manually activated.
Eventually, someone will bring him home. Until then, he will keep an eye out for Santa Kerb.
I'm currently working on making an aquatic research station.![:D](//kerbal-forum-uploads.s3.us-west-2.amazonaws.com/emoticons/default_k_cheesy.gif)
