If you use tweakables (right click) and set the thrust limiter for 50(%) then it will increase the burn time by 200% and decrease the thrust by 50%. You do this by right clicking on the srb in the VAB and then click on the middle of the bar labled thrust limiter. drag it around until the number becomes 50.
