  1. GeneCash that's a neat device! Also, I'm ridiculously happy with the latest update ^___^
  2. Shift + WASD is really tricky to work with when building things like large planes with cargo holds especially. In general it's just hindering my ability to really make the ship what I want it to be. Not sure if this is already out there, but let me know if it is! Is it possible to make a 3d manipulator for build mode? So that you can click a key or axis to rotate or move a part on that axis? There's an example from a 3d modeling program Blender for visual aid. I see so many cool things built in KSP and I have many ideas myself, but every time I start building I get discouraged.
  3. Didn't work. Wow I didn't know you could do that with toroidal tanks! Thanks! Also, I did it the under and facing up way (in the diagram thing in the OP) and it worked after some finagling. Anyway thanks for the help. If there are any other wonky tricky ways to make grabbing easier please let me know though.
  4. Vanilla KSP, take pictures. Drop a kerbal in a command pod (not chair!) from as high as you can on Kerbin (or the Mun if you're feeling lucky) without using parachutes, rockets, or wings to slow him down! Make sure to record the velocity you were at upon hitting the ground. I've been building "cages" around my command pods with different designs in the hopes that I can drop one at high speed without it killing the kerbal inside. For use when your decent stage blows up and you want to land on (insert astrological body here) without being rubble.
  5. Trying to make a stock bay door to drive rovers up into for a plane. 2 grabbers attached to one object apparently break it and don't work properly... I'm using 2 on each side instead of 1 in the middle because with 1 the rover wouldn't be able to drive up the ramp over the grabber.
