  1. More like abandoned. The leaderboards haven't been updated since march.
  2. Post it anyway! While you may not be entered on the (now apparently abandoned) leaderboards, the spirit of competing isn't lost. Perhaps inspire others to try out the challenge?
  3. Here's an easy suggestion: Stick on 2 layers of 6 -32 tanks with skippers with radial decouplers. Run fuel lines from the outer tanks to the inside tanks, then from the inside tanks to the centre engine. Do normal staging. Later on in the game SRBs become rather useless, unfortunately. Also, the highest skipper engine has no fuel running to it! Remember, fuel cannot pass through decouplers. If the above doesn't work, try emtying the fuel tanks in the station, put it up into orbit, transfer remaining fuel from booster stage into the tanks and send up a refueling craft.
  4. How does the Hawk work? That's actually pretty impressive despite exploits.
  5. I'm sorry if this has been done before, but, yes. And while we're at it perhaps in the 'propulsion' tab have categories for Jets, Rockets and RCS?
  6. Edited the gallery, there is only one flight in there now. First four are the requested "proof" pictures, the others are just the journey.
  7. Pictures 1~4 are the "Summary" screenshots, those would be fine haha FYI there are two in there. There are just too many pictures oh dear
  8. Updated the album to include a twin-ramjet version that brushed 2300m/s Not sure what you mean by "flight", by the way, but I think the 9th image and from 16 onwards count as flight? All the intake stacking. wow In case you couldn't tell I have nearly 0 experience with spaceplanes so sorry
  9. So I was looking through the forums, again, and saw this. I thought, "this sounds like a job for the Flying Rock". Little rock created for m1sz's "Fastest Plane under 1km" challenge. Clean and simple with no intake stacking. Full stock (I happen to have Kerbal Joint reinforcement installed, but with such a small plane and the strut added there it shouldn't matter. But it's OP's decision).
  10. *fumbles to create account* Oh dear, hello~! I've seen the comments on the thread, some complaining about "jet-powered rockets" others "remove the control surfaces, you get a rock" But when I saw the challenge and opened up KSP... Oops where'd my two hours go. This entry isn't valid because I couldn't land it but I thought I should thank the OP for the fun challenge c: EDIT: "Oh Look, I Put Wings On An Engine" V2 @ 426m/s. End flight log says 429, not sure when that happened (No FAR) 45~48 more m/s, 60% more ugly and 30% the parts of Hejnfelt's pretty nice looking plane Suspiciously good handling for a rock. EDIT #2: I just remembered I have Kerbal Joint Reinforcement installed, though I doubt it'll matter with such a tiny thing.
