  1. Water was added recently, Kethane only makes the liquid fuel, and water is required for the oxidizer. I think the water is used for some of the resources with Intersteller as well.
  2. Yeah I am having the same issue with it not using the parts to build. Makes having the mining and production kinda useless, when it doesn't use up the supllies. I have Kethane installed on my game and I am having this issue as well. I have the newest version of is. So I have Kethane, Water and Ore showing on my maps. Managed to set my base down in a spot with all 3 resources.
  3. Well for Welding in the VAB I use Ubio Welding Ltd, same as Bob Fitch in his KSS videos. The Parts I welded on site are using Lazor System v32b, which allows you to weld 2 parts together during EVA. I pretty much just messed around to see what I could do. Found out that if you weld parts together in EVA and then grab the main part the parts welded to it explode. lol. Guess KAS doesn't like Lazor welded parts.
  4. yeah this is the same issue I had with my launch pads, besides I couldn't release at all. So I used Lazor to Remote Control the vessel, followed by explosion, and the Release menu bug.
  5. Well the Runway has been working for me just fine, Got my miner up, and deployed. Then used my Crane I brought up to move a 8x8 base plate into position next to the Crane with some assistance from a Kerbal Rigger in moving the load. Then moved and welded an empty Ore Container on the plate. So the Runway is working. Just think I may need to build a bigger crane later.
  6. I think the part you need is under pods, and looks like tall scalfolding with a torch and duct tape on the bottom shelf. I was trying to get one up for my base, and my game just crashed on me. I don't feel like waiting for 5 minutes to load up with all my mods. lol
  7. Runway works on the Mun, was able to get my mining rover up, and begin operations. for some reason its not using the rocketparts to build though.
  8. looks like the runway works. I was able to build and release a rover from it no problem. now to get one to the Mun. lol
  9. Thanks for the amazing fix, I really didn't want to try to get a new base started on the Mun. Especially since I landed in a spot with Kethane, Ore and Water. Well the one on the mun is still bugged. So I put another LaunchPad2 up to check it. Might see about the Runway since I am looking at trying to build some rovers first off.
  10. Yeah I am having the issue with the ship that I built blowing up on the pad, and then the UI shows the ships name and only has Release as an option but nothing happens when I click on it. It was a mobile smelter I built, after the wheels blew off it. I was able to connect it to the base with KAS. But cant build anything else now. Downloading and installing 4.01 now. I will see if this helps. Update: The new install didn't fix the problem.
  11. An Awesome set of missions. I started using the info in them to begin writing a set of missions for Real Tech2, Kethane and SCANsat. Started out with 3 missions to place satillites in KEO sync orbit, followed by the SCANsat mapping satillites. Only managed to write the ones for Kerbin and Mun so far. Plan on making missions for all the Planets and Moons eventually. Still trying to even out decent rewards for the cost. First KEO Sat I sent up took me 4 tries at 119K per Rocket, and original reward of 120K. LOL needless to say I make it about 200K. Probably would have been easier without FAR installed as well.
