Ok, figured it out, thanks for your help everyone!

So, I'm using: Real Solar System TAC Life Support KW Rocketry FAR B9 Aerospace Deadly Reentry Distant Object Remote Tech 2 and the associated toolbars and such. During this latest install (Deadly Reentry, RSS, TAC, RM2) which I did today, I started up KSP, and started a new save. However, KSC just shows up like this. Any idea on what I can do to fix this?

So, preparing for my first landing on Laythe. Can anyone give me the values of how much Delta-V from Laythe's surface to LLO?

Finally got to Minmus after getting a replacement GPU. The RCS powered flying car didn't work, but I did get my guys back from my base, which I forgot to put chutes on. Also, I put Mitfen into orbit on an EVA, and somehow ran out of fuel for the landing. He impacted Minmus at ~40 m/s, and somehow lived, then proceeded to roll down a cliff, impact at 40 m/s and live again. Kerbals are surprisingly tough.

Dealing with crashes due to a faulty GPU. Luckily, I almost got my Minmus base supplies to their destination. Can't wait to try out my RCS powered flying car...

Rover wheels, turning specifically. Either you turn with good control, and flip super easily, or you lock the steering on the back wheels, and get no good control. The main reason I've switched to RCS powered vehicles on Minmus and Mun. Random SOI changes. I'm leaving Kerbin's SOI, then all of a sudden, I'm back, and with an impact trajectory. Then I waste tons of fuel trying to get back out. The whack aerodynamics system. Seriously, infinitely gliding planes reaching up to 800 m/s, and a giant plane that stalls every time I turn.

True. In any case, what is the likeliness of n-body physics actually being officially added into the game?

If the performance drops from that, then why not use patched conics for other vessels, and n-body for only the current vessel? Would that not affect performance as much? (Would also take away the task of station keeping.)

This would probably be the most plausible method. Cheap payload, but you may have to launch it from the ground, and not from orbit for it to be more efficient (I'm not too familiar with the amount of deltaV to reverse orbit from orbit vs putting it into orbit.)

Wait, so this isn't by NASA or any other space program? How do they expect to get the billion or more dollars to buy a rocket, make a payload, and then launch it, put it into orbit, and retrieve it? It seems a little far fetched if you ask me.

Last night, I was building a ship in LKO. I sent up the stage, only to find I had no RCS. So, revert to VAB, then add some decouplers with RCS tanks. Send it back up, get rid of part of the launch stage, and also blew off the RCS tanks before I even had a stable orbit... I took a break after that.

When you get to very large vehicles, RCS becomes very useful. The only way you can really move the craft without it is if you're firing the engines, in which case the gimbal is helping you. Also, it's nice for fine tuning maneuvers (ie. setting up an aerobrake into Jool).
