  1. Perhaps someone could help me as I've yet to find an solution here. Before .23.5 I used the mechjeb auto docking function all the time and it worked perfectly. I'd never had a problem with it. I believe I was using mechjeb 2.1.0.0 or something. Probably whichever spaceport has available for .23. It docked everything for me from tiny pods to massive station halves. All I needed to do was use the rendezvous autopilot to get me withing 100-50 meters, pick my two docking ports, and press go. Now, however, there's the "targetsize" and "safedistance" lines on the docking autopilot, and they seem vastly out of proportion. Even my smaller vessels have "safedistances" of hundreds or thousands of meters, and the autopilot wants to start the docking maneuver from outside that distance. It doesn't seem to matter whether I start on the correct side or not, it still tries to back up. The older versions I used used to back up a bit sometimes, but never like this. What good is it to rendezvous at 75m if the auto wants to back up to 1000m to start the dock? Anyways, does anyone know a solution for this? A stable build for .23.5 without those two features, a specific docking protocol, or even a configuration to just adjust by a factor of 10?
  2. Thank you for your help, Warpfunction. I have my refinery floating in the ocean. I even moved it offshore a bit to make sure it was in the ocean biome. I can electrolyze water and aluminia and run the other functions as long as I have the resources, but not extract anything but thorium and uranium. Centrifuges work fine too. I did your modification and now I can extract lithium from the surface now at least. I'm a bit hesitant to send my lander to Laythe or Eve still though in case my problem still exists there.
  3. I'm sorry for what might seem like such a simple problem, but I can't seem to extract water, lithium, or ammonia, or alumina. I've driven my rover into the ocean next to KSC. I have have power and storage space. I've tried changing the concentrations of the elements in the config files;updating my ksp interstellar; hooking fuels lines to, from, and to and from the storage containers and the refinery (I can move water to and from the refinery); I've read over a hundred pages back on this thread; searched for "lithium", "water", and "ammonia" on this thread; watched hours of Scott Manley. I'm kinda at my wit's end here. I just can't get any of these dang extraction processes to work. Thorium and uranium mining work just fine. They have the button to allow me to start and stop those processes, but the button to extract these other substances isn't even present. I see posts that others can do it... just why not me? Any ideas?
