Hey guys some may have heard of The Forgottenspore team from various Games.A team of modders dedicated to bringing new features to old games.While we made over 100 mods for the current game Spore we still don't quite get the whole multiplayer feature on single player games. We have access to 70% of spore's in game files, and yes spore is server friendly as it host some sort of online sharing function.I was planning on releasing v3 of the forgottenspore mod but I feel it isnt ready.Me and members of the team would really like to know, where would we start? Spore has a system where players never share the same universe but they can share the same creations.I figure by using one single universe, that will make it compatible with a multiplayer addon...thus the save feature among many other Single player features.We use .package files created by maxis similar to the sims.Also there's a multiplayer sequal Darkspore...Lets say I wanted to take files from there and switch up server info, what type of files would we be looking for? So basically where looking for 1.How to Turn a Single player Game into a Multiplayer Game 2.what programs can we use for a Multiplayer chat system 3.Step by step detailed Guide for this multiplayer function.
