  1. Thanks, looks like I'll grab that mod since there is no simple way to deal with it after the fact in vanilla. Thanks!
  2. What I meant by the performance, is you could make more easily make effective weight shedding rocket designs if it were possible to select the order connected fuel tanks would be depleted instead of having to assemble them in a chain of linked fuel lines.
  3. Customizable Fuel Tanks Maybe these have been suggested, maybe not. I would really like to have some control over the contents of a fuel tank. For example a fuel tank that has liquid fuel and oxidizer, you could instead choose to have both tank sections filled with just liquid fuel. Or a section with mono propellant. Resizable parts I'm not sure how difficult this would be, but it would be nifty to be able to hold down a modifier key, or simply click a size button on the parts list that would give you one step up, and one step down in size of the selected item. Of course only certain items would this make sense. Perhaps in 100% scale changes. Medium would be double the size of small, and large double that of medium. Or at maybe just 50% increments. Fuel Usage Order It seems like to really make good rockets, more control over the order in which fuel tanks are consumed is really necessary. You can sort of do with with the fuel line attachment, but it would save time, aesthetics, and rocket performance by not needing an elaborate mess of fuel lines for advanced staging methods. Thanks for reading!
  4. More troubles with the root part. I made a spiffy little rover which I intend to return with the lander. The rover has a jr docking clamp on the top, and lander has a jr docking clamp on the bottom for it to drive under, hitch up and go on it's merry way. However, After then designing the lander and loading the rover in as a sub assembly I can't link them with the docking ports. Or any part of the entire rover other than the root part. How can I get around this? I'd rather not have to redesign the entire thing to get around this silly problem or have it be an issue with future projects. Any ideas of how to get around this without the use of mods? The root part of the rover is what the entire structure of it is built around so I can't see how I could change it without deleting the entire design.
  5. Thanks for the insight! Now I'm just having wibbly wobbly rocket issues, even when they are affixed to supports along the length.
  6. Hi there, so far I am immensely enjoying this game but there is one nagging issue where if you delete the first placed command module, it just up and deletes the entire project. I should be able to change that half way through without that occurring.. Also, sometimes - especially in career mode without a lot of parts - you have to get creative with how you connect things together. Sometimes you just need to move objects away from the command pod to make changes at how they link up, but unless a part is connected in some fashion to the command pod, you can't do anything but move the blueprint around. These mechanics seem like they should exist. Is there a mod to stop that from occurring? And I was also curious if someone is aware of any aid type mods, that make it easier to navigate around?
