  1. Im currently rolling back from the auto update... Since 90% of my mods aren't compatible with .90 yet. .90 looks nice though
  2. Im not exactly sure how the survey stakes work. I placed one for the base, one for +x, one for +y and one for +z in kind of a triangular pattern. Seemed to work well. You can use launch supports this way which is nice. Just got a Minmus mining operation setup. Still need to send over a Kethane Rover and Survey crew. Really enjoying this mod!
  3. I might try surveyed builds. But I think ill try the first launchpad and hope its not as gittery. Got a probe scanning Minmus now for Kethane and Ore. Ill send my mining rovers there soon once my power network is expanded.
  4. Well I got everything setup but I have a few issues... 1. My lauchpad 2 seems to slide around after building a ship on it. 2. After building a ship sometimes the Launchpad destroys the resource rover connected to it. (Swings it around on the KAS connection) Im using KAS to link multiple rovers together. (resource mining, smelting, etc..)
  5. KSP is definately not a casual game. I just installed this mod along with a long list of others. Spent about 3 hours last night designing a decent drill/rover/converter for the Mun. Havent tested it at all yet. Im wonder how easy it will be to build some massive B9 HX ship using this mod. Would be about the only way to get the HX lineup in orbit.
  6. Im running an i7 980x at 4.2ghz Hopefully more optimizations come soon as more mods emerge. I cant complain for the price I paid, Ive already played over 300 hours worth of the game. Now back to working on designing a SSTO shuttle.
  7. But being able to use more memory would help with lag correct?
  8. Been busy today building the station. Its got just about everything on it. 2x reactors, 2x generators, antimatter collectors, living quarters, liquid fuel, oxidizer, monopropellant, xenon gas etc... At over 400 parts its a bit laggy. Need to switch to 64bit. Let me know what you think.
  9. Here is my Kethane transport, uses only beamed power. 19t empty weight and ~36t with kethane load. Tank can hold a lot more but nearly impossible to fly past 36t. And my refuel truck. Very basic but it works. Lastly my Kethane Mining Vehicle. Few bumps on the landing knocked off all but one of the solar panels, thankfully I added a generator that keeps everything powered. BTW how do you all get hi res screen shots? These look terrible compared to in game graphics.
  10. Im starting to do more Kerbin based flights mining Kethane. I have a large deposit north of the launch center that ive been making rounds to. Dropped off a decent sized mining vehicle and make flights back and forth transporting the kethane back to HQ to my fuel truck. I still need to figure out how to get Kethane when the mining vehicle is out of focus... Remote tech? Sorry no pics yet. Ill post some after work.
  11. Here is my main atmospheric transport. Mostly B9 with a little Interstellar. Requires no fuel and cruises easily at 9km and 550m/s.
  12. So no docking with robotic parts... dang. I have a massive kethane drill with its only docking port about 10m off the surface. I built a rover with a nice telescoping arm with docking port, it docks fine but after undocking is completely broken. Anyway to get around this? I don't think I can reach the port by just lifting the rover.
