  1. So I've seen quite a few pictures where peoples orbits around planets (mainly Kerbin) look pretty packed, and wanted to see what some packed orbits looked like. How busy is your equatorial orbit? What types of craft do you have up? What are the purpose of these craft? Got any pictures? Are any orbits of other bodies looking busy? I'm relatively new to the full version, so my planets are quite sparsely populated up in the sky, with only a couple of satellites and a developing space station round Kerbin, a satellite round the Mun and a satellite inbound for Minmus at the moment.
  2. Thanks very much! I had seen you're thread but it looked a little more specific than what I wanted, so I thought I'd post one up.
  3. Hey guys, I pretty recently got the full version of Kerbal (having had the demo version for quite a while) and I reckon I need some mods. However, there are so many that I'm not sure where to start looking really. For context, I'm not a complete beginner but wouldn't say I'm particularly good either. I can reach the Mun/Minmus etc. and have just about worked out docking now so that's the kind of level I'm at. My experimentation with Spaceplanes has been a complete disaster so far, so I'm going to focus on rockets for the moment, although I'd quite like to build some sort of Space Shuttle to service my Space station when it gets bigger. So yeah. I've currently got Mechjeb and Interstellar, although that's it for the moment.
  4. Seriously dude, this tutorial is awesome! I just did my first docking in KSP and damn did it feel good! Gonna get working on a space station soon! That's really helpful, I had to do several attempts at docking with my first attempt.
  5. Thank you very much to both of you... after a bit of working I've gotten to the file! I knew I'd need to add the mods to a file, I just didn't know which file and where to find it!
  6. Hi all, Apologies if this is the wrong place to ask this. I've had the demo version of KSP for quite a while and have only recently upgraded to the full version. I was looking at mods on here, and downloaded Mechjeb, but it hasn't seemed to have had any effect on the game. For context, I'm playing on a Macbook Pro, with the game bought off Steam. The mods I've bought have been downloaded and unzipped and are currently sitting in my Downloads folder. I can seem to find a file of KSP, just an application icon. I'm sure there's a very easy solution to this but I've had a look around on here all day and haven't been able to find one yet!
  7. Yes, the new version is much better than the old, though a bit of a steep learning curve! That makes sense about the tutorial. I've noticed there are a hell of a lot of mods on here, any recommendations? Also, when I download them, will they automatically install onto Kerbal?
  8. Hey everyone, I had the free version of Kerbal for quite a while, but upgraded to the full version when it was on a sale on Steam. It's a lot more scary and confusing! I have a question, I've downloaded Mechjeb and a tutorial on how to get into orbit around the Mun, but when I open Kerbal, the tutorial doesn't come up! It's currently in my downloads folder and I've unzipped the file. What do I need to do to get it to appear? Thanks very much.
