The question is simple: i want to do some math to get the required Delta-v to get a Low orbit on Kerbin. The problem is that i have to calculate not only the basic Delta-v to lift-off, and the delta-v to win gravitational drag, but also the delta-v required to win the athmosferic drag. How can I do it?
(and obviously i don't want to look at a delta-v map...)

no tweaks, just try to stay low with the graphical setting. what problems do yoiu have with steamos?

your plan is fantastic! it's all i0ve dreamed for when i bought KSP! Really, no joking...
And i will love to take part of the project and give some help, if i can. Especially the "mission design" part.
About the mod, why not to implement the realism overhaul? With the Real Solar System (and FAR), your idea to develop an interactive campaign will be perfect, because a single person simple could not really manage all. The best would be like this: one person design the mission (in general, so like: manned landing on the Moon; in particular, so the delta-v/TWR and all the "numbers" of the mission; and the budget), another person design the payload and the ship and finally another one actually fly it.
(sorry for the bad english...)

agree! with the "vanilla ksp" i've managed to get a probe on a low orbit on Dres (not returnig to kerbin), that's somthing like 7000/8000 delta-v. Well, with Real Solar Sistem and FERRAM i need 9000 delta-v just to get an orbit on Earth, and I need to design an aerodinamic rocket to do that!
-
Just one: i've managed to send in orbit a probe. Just this? Yes, but with the Realism Overhaul (and FERRAM and Real Solar System) it's not so simple...

Ciao, sono Matteo, ho 22 anni e ho da poco scoperto KSP dopo anni passati su Orbiter 2010.
Roger. Feeling fine, excellent spirits, ready to go.

I'm new here in the forum, but i'm not so new in playing KSP and in orbital mechanics (i used to play Orbiter 2010).
I love this game, and I love the emoticons in this forum!
See you on Kerbol.
