I wonder what your ASI185MC would produce with my scope. I imagine it'd be quite a bit better than this.

But where are the aliens? If habitable planets are common, then extraterrestrials should be too.

Saturn tonight

https://news.ucsc.edu/2017/08/tau-ceti-planets.html Planets e and f might be barely in the habitable zone (similar to Venus and Mars distances respectively).

The CEV looks more like the ESA Hermes spaceplane than the NASA design to me. Very nice job.
-
I polished for 30 minutes with cerox. Unfortunately I can't test the mirror for another few hours (we have the maid here). I want to see if the TDE has gone away at all.

_Augustus_ replied to silentvelcro's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
The Ares V boosters seem small. -
Yeah, okay, it has turned-down edge. Here it is after 20 minutes of polishing with rouge to try and fix it (it's a bit better).

Really nice job!

Today I got a lot done. I used the 15 and 9.25 micron WAO and then poured a pitch lap on top of the tiles and started polishing. The mirror is maybe 1/4-1/3 of the way to being polished out.

Meanwhile Boeing gets away with their detachable heat shield and airbags, which is also an unproven concept. Do I smell favoritism? -
(WIP) [Kopernicus] Outer Reaches v 0.3
_Augustus_ replied to _Augustus_'s topic in KSP1 Mod Development
The orbits are scaled to those of OPM's gas giants. Aeumha orbits just outside Neidon's orbit, for example. -
I started and finished work with the #320. Tomorrow I'll use the WAO 9.25 micron grit. Then it's time for polishing!

Someone needs to image Pluto before it's gone for the season. Just 'cause.

The bodies in Outer Reaches don't have proper science values or biomes yet but collecting science works fine on even the smallest body, Mee. I think that the Gilly/Minmus bug has to do with negative altitudes or something. I will try to fix it. Mee is spiky and has no lowlands. Could you take a screenshot of your GameData folder?
