I took a small break from building and maintaining my MKS space stations to try something silly. I'd been entertaining the idea of an interplanetary "mothership" for a while now, so I slapped something together in the VAB and - to my surprise - it made it to orbit, and I took the opportunity to take the three crewmembers out of Kerbin's SOI and back for the experience.
Once I got it back to an orbit around Kerbin, I decided to grapple onto it with a small tug containing lots of parachutes and airbrakes and use the engineer to install everything to get it planetside in one piece. All was going well until I tried retracting the radiators for ease of movement, and....
The ship was on a 100km equatorial orbit. I have not one, but two space stations on a 100km equatorial Kerbin orbit. And I guess as of just now a couple of wingless Mk.2 hulls with nuclear engines strapped to them, along with a streak of orbital debris.
Kessler Syndrome ho! Should make things interesting.
