  1. I'm seeing the same issue with an added, very strange, additional bug. If I advance time warp above 1X and then return to time warp = 1X, most of the ship goes zooming off except for one small section (in one ship, that's orbiting Mun the only part left is a landing can; in the other ship that's orbiting Duna, the only part left is a rover that had been stored in a service large service bay). If I speed up time warp above 1X, the whole ship appears to be intact but if I then slow the time warp back to 1X the majority of the ship goes zooming off again. If I wait while a minute or less (for the ship that's orbiting Mun) then I'll see the rest of the ship zoom past again as though it's continuing to orbit Mun while the Landing Can is appears to be stationary. {I see that other's have reported a similar situation in the bug reports linked above) At time time I created these saves I was using MechJeb, Chatterer, and Kerbal Alarm Clock.
  2. Just to note, I haven't performed any dockings yet on one of my saves (I've been just following along the Scott M series with that one). So perhaps the docking contract has some randomness associated with when/if it appears.
  3. I've got two different career mode saved games going and I've gotten unlocked at least the small docking port in one and all of the docking ports in the other but I've never gotten a docking contract. I've been watching the excellent Scott Manley Career mode guide series on youtube (based on 1.0.2) and he seems to suggest (in episode 17) that the basic docking contract "Dock Two Vehicles in Low Kerbin Orbit" (or something to that effect) is automatically issued as soon as you unlock a docking port but that doesn't seem to be the case. I've even tried rejecting a bunch of related contracts (orbiting stations, etc) but the docking contract doesn't seem to come up. Is it just a somewhat rare contract? Thanks Dave
  4. PBS (public television in the US) is doing a documentary on the Rosetta mission. The final version will air on local stations and online next Wednesday but an hour long preview is available now with lots of interesting details about the mission. It covers the initial planning and launch through rendezvous and the selection of the final landing site. Lots of interesting details, especially for us KSP fans. http://video.pbs.org/video/2365367186/
  5. Thanks Is it made from stock parts? I'm following career mode and haven't ventures into aircraft technology much yet but the wheels and what looks like an open cockpit appear to be from the Field Science node of the tech tree. I might just go into sandbox mode and try to build it. Will it fly on Kerbin?
  6. Hi, I really like the pic of the light aircraft, that appears to be flying on Duna, in the KSP Twitter banner. Here it is here: Can anyone point me to a tread where it's documented / described? Thanks, Dave
