  1. Hi, Hot on the heels of the announcement of this year's Nobel Prize winner in literature (no, haven't heard about him) I thought of something that struck me the first time I launched KSP. Has anybody made the connection between Kerbal-space and the Haruki Murakami (a recurring Nobel favorite) novel 1Q84? In the book, the protagonist finds herself in a slightly skewed parallell world that she calls 1Q84 (instead of 1984 - the year the story takes place). One of the things that makes her realize this isn't 1984 in Japan is that there is a second moon in the sky. It's small and pale green. Perhaps it was the inspiration for Minmus? Anyway - a real question: I'm in the middle of a very interesting career game in 0.24. If I update to 0.25, will that break my game? Best, Tage Widsell
  2. Hi there, Just joined after getting hooked on KSP. And boy did I get hooked. :-) I haven't gotten very far yet - a few orbital flights and one successful Mun landing & return (yay!) I have a question about science points. See if I have understood things right. I plan to start sending unmanned probes to the other planets to help gather some science points. I have understood that transmitted reports get less points than reports and samples that are brought back to Kerbin. So here's the question: I have noticed that you get full science score only once for any given place/situation/activity combination. If a probe makes a scientific observation at a given place, will I have consumed that science opportunity, or can I recoup the 'missing' points later in the game with a manned expedition? For example: if an unmanned probe that's not returning to Kerbin would observe mystery goo in low Duna orbit, will that situation and location be consumed, or could I repeat the experiment later with a probe that's meant to return to Kerbin and get all the science points? Thankful for help Tage Stockholm, Sweden
