  1. I am a very lazy man and I would like to know: "How much liquid fuel are you able to get in a stable orbit with only one launch?" No mods, no cheats and no changes on any files. My personal record stands at 87.500 unit of liquid fuel with a sandbox ship which would cost 5.275.000,- in career mode. What is possible?
  2. In this case I keep my station in orbit and do not drag it into the sun Thanks for the fast info.
  3. I am planing a big mission to Eve and Gilly. I want to use a transportation ship to transport 2 planet lander, 2 mun lander, 3 rover & 3 satelites to eve. To prepare this mission I have 2 space stations. Space station 1 is a refuel station where all lander and ships will be refueld before they travel to station 2. Station 2 is a space dock where alle parts will be refueld again and when the transport ship is in orbit they will be put on in there. But the more landers, rovers, satelites and supplyships I place at the spacedock, the bigger the lag gets and docking gets verry hard. My refuel tanker can make his 180 degree turn in 5 seconds, next to the space dock (within 2,2km range) he needs more than 30 seconds. Is there a chance that there will be a performance update some day? I already turned down the graphic settings to the minimum.
  4. Thanks to all of you for your input. I think I solfed the Problem with a new design, that uses much fewer parts. I will post a picture as soon as the lander passed the landing test. How can I set my tread from "unanswered" to "answered"?
  5. I trie to plant a flag on Eve and bring the Kerbal back to Kerbal. Also a Mystery Goo container, a SC-9001 jr module and 2x MK2 Cockpit. I bring the Lander into a 200k orbit with a transport ship and then I want it to land on Eve. Get the Kerbal out, plant the Flag, grab a stone an get the Kerbal back in. The big lagg seems to come from the huge numer of parts on that lander. Refuling a smaller ship goes much faster. I would use mainsail engines and Rockomax Jumbo-64 tanks if I could find a ladder thats bigger than a mainsail engine. You see the lander docked on my first space station. And If you ask why 2 cockpits: I plan to take 2 landers on that mission if lander 1 crashes and the pilot needs to be rescued ther is space for a passenger in the rescue lander.
  6. I am quiet new to KSP so I play it without MODs. I am testing a design for a lander that can bring a Kerbal safe on a planet and back into àstable orbit. To make this possible I need to refuel the lander in space after the launch from Kerbal, because starting it from Kerbal depletes the whole fuel. To do this I have built a space station and some refuel tankers. I have two problems: 1.: I can transfer the fuel from the refueltankers to only one tankmodule of the lander. Is there any way to fill up more than one module at the same time? 2.: My actual lander design has 60 FL-T800 Fuel Tanks. To transfer the fuel of one tank takes 4 minutes and 10 seconds at my spacestation. Thats more than 4 hours to refuel the whole lander. Is there a possibility to speed things up?
  7. Why do you need a rope when every kerbal has his own thrusters mountet in his spacesuit?
