  1. Copied an old Mk2 spaceplane design I made years ago, took it to Minmus, landed, could barely take back off because at a stop the plane bounced so severely that I had to reload several times before I was able to get the thing moving and not have it bounce into the ground and explode. I understand for rockets that the current (stupid) work-around is to treat the game like it's the ancient version that didn't even have landing legs, but what in the world am I supposed to do if I'm using spaceplanes? Just don't build or use them? Whatever other bugfixes or additions that are in the pipes, not a single solitary one of them should be taking precedence over this bug. It is making me hate a game that I love and have spent thousands of hours playing.
  2. Ok. Is there a place I can get replacements for these? I poked around the KSP folder and couldn't find stock versions of either.
  3. I did this and nothing changed. I went and deleted even more of the lines related to Voronoi and that also did not change anything. I did see that there is an Eeloo map in the OPM Textures folder and it also has those craters, so do I have to replace that with a different texture file? If so, where can I get one?
  4. I really like this mod, however I have to say, I'm not at all a fan of the small craters it places on Eeloo. They look really out of place and totally clash with the otherwise smooth surface, like it's super easy to tell that they were just kinda plastered on a body that was already finished rather than that body being designed with them in mind. Is there any way to remove them?
  5. What do you consider 'finished'? There are tons of games released all the time (for 60 dollars!) that have things added to them later on, are these games not 'finished' either?
  6. It is also important to note that if we were to wait for Squad to patch every single bug before the official release, it would never come out. Even patching bugs often leads to new ones. The best possible action for them to take is to release the game and then patch any major bugs as soon as possible - in other words, do what every other developer does with their games today.
  7. My question to you people complaining: What is your definition of what 1.0 should be? This is a game that has been under constant development for years, and will remain under development after; by your logic, the fact that this game will keep being added on to would mean that '1.0' wouldn't be ready potentially for years. As far as glitches go, in an era where games like Battlefield 4 and Assassin's Creed Unity exist, I hardly agree that glitches somehow prevents this game from being 'finished'. The more complicated a game is, the more buggy it will be, and this is even more true of a game with such a small dev team. Frankly, the fact that the game doesn't have a whole lot more instability and game-breaking bugs is pretty impressive. This seems like a bunch of complaining from people who want total perfection in their game. You are not going to get that, not from KSP and not from pretty much any other modern game either.
