I'll try recreating a spaceship from E:D in KSP. Probably the Imperial Clipper. Will send you the picture and file when (and if) I'm done. Edit: Proof of concept done. As in, first time I tried the career mode, it felt like I wasn't progressing at all. I was still doing the same mission over and over again. Maybe I just got good mission drops, advancing quickly enough not to feel like I'm not going anywhere in 1.0

I think the career mode is a lot better now. It doesn't feel like I'm grinding, attempting to get into space with just SRBs because all the science around me was exhausted, and I had neither the technology for proper airplanes, or rockets was fun. Although I have no idea how long this'll last, because last time I tried the career mode, I eventually cheated in all the money and science I could ever need because I got bored. But, from the limited experience I have, it's way better.

Greetings! I've been playing the game for a relatively long time, first hearing of it around February of 2012. Of course, at the time I didn't know how to even get to the moon, just simply relishing the fact that I could get out of the atmosphere and enter orbit with just enough fuel to do absolutely nothing afterwards, nor did I know that the game would (rightfully) become a huge success. But, here we all are, version 1.0, creating a wonderful community since time immemorial. And, as I have had the tradition of doing something special on KSP's major updates (last time I tried to do athletics, never again), why not join the community? Who knows, maybe I might overcome my social anxiety after all.

I don't think it's too hard, the start's just a little bit slow, before you get all the money needed to upgrade your facilities at least once, get parts strong enough to get you into a proper orbit, and all that. I generally start unlocking airplane parts, because that way I can do most survey tasks and even get back, generating a lot of money and a fair bit of science, too.

For a long, long time (over a year), we have heard almost nothing of what happened to Macey Dean. However, as of the 5th of May, 2015, a whole new video has been uploaded on his channel.
