  1. Update: After some digging it looks like my GPU on my device has roughly 1 GB of VRAM, which is below the minimal specs to run KSP2. KSP2 requires at least 6 GB or 8 GB of VRAM in order to run. Which of the two it is depends on the model of GPU. Am I correct to conclude that there is no solution to my problem on the current hardware I have?
  2. OS: Windows 10 CPU: Intel i7-1265U (1.80 GHz) GPU: Intel Iris Xe RAM: 16 GB Bought through Steam. Steam file validation passes. I have KSP1 installed on the same device. The content of two player.log files can be found at the bottom of this post. Context I bought KSP2 today. I fired it up, and started a new campaign. After having created a new campaign, during the loading screen the game either: Crashes and shuts down to desktop Crashes and bluescreens my device I have only tried exploration mode so far. Specific steps taken Create new campaign. Result: game crashes to desktop at "Loading Universe State" Try again without changes. Result: game crashes to desktop at "Loading Universe State" Create new campaign after lowering graphics settings (after consulting this forum post). Result: blue screen at "Loading Universe State" Try again without changes. Result: game crashes to desktop at "Loading Universe State" Create new campaign after deleting folder "\AppData\LocalLow\Intercept Games\Kerbal Space Program 2" according to bug-posting guidelines. Result: blue screen at "Creating Vessel" Try again without changes. Result: blue screen at "Loading Universe State" Observations Whatever happens during Loading Universe State is very likely to fail (5 crashes out of 6 attempts) Changing graphics settings correlates to a blue screen in this trial After deleting "\AppData\LocalLow\Intercept Games\Kerbal Space Program 2" the only observed crash was of blue-screen type Questions Is this either known expected behaviour or a known problem, given similar computer specs? Is the cause known for this situation? Is there a solution or workaround for this problem? I hope to have provided enough information in this way. Let me know if any more is needed. Any help is very welcome! 3. I don't think you actually can, but if you would send one of the builders a sweet message... who knows
  4. The cache validation returned that four files were not validated and that steam will reinstall said files. I'll check in the morning if it worked, since it is 2AM here
  5. Done that, here are the: - .craft file of the dragon plane - the persistent.sfs file - the output_log.txt file https://www.dropbox.com/sh/cwxhf8osal7igh3/AACAWKK-BCRyqLcHiX8-ok31a?dl=0 cheers, Tim
  6. Dear KSP'ers, Let's first get rid of the formalities. I am running a KSP 32-bit install, version 1.0 (the problem started around version 0.23.5-ish) on a windows 8.1 Whenever I am trying to build a plane with the mk.1 cockpit (not inline) the game is trying to kill it. Explodifying it on the runway and in mid-air, if I actually am able to lift off. For the sake of this thread I am using an early tier science/exploration craft for low speed and low altitude. Some Pictures: Loading Up, notice there is no kerbal in the bottom right REJECTION Final Result When it doesn't manage to explode, it makes a weird bounce upon hitting the runway and about thirty seconds after taking off: I explodify in mid-air I hope someone has a fix for this bug, because it is bugging me for some time now (pun intended). Looking forward to your responses, Tim
  7. Hey Bac9, Im running the x64 version relatively successfully. The only things that are not working are the IVA screens - reacting to input but are not giving visual - and the green HUD in the mk.2 cockpit - im getting a blurry navball instead. The other mods i have installed are: - FAR - Engineer - Procedural wings - Procedural fairings Regards, Tim
