Hi all
I habe been doing a small realism upgrade (no, not the complete realism overhaul) of my kerbosmos and as a part of it installed RealChute. I _do_ like it very much, save for one issue: I can't get the chutes to arm on staging. However I set the autoArm flag (via the settings GUI or by directly editing RealChute_Settings.cfg), I always have to hit the spacebar twice (stage, then arm) or to deploy manually by right-clicking the chute. No big deal if the chutes are in the last stage, but quite cumbersome if I want to stage other events after chute deployment, e.g separating the science package from the capsule.
Am I missing something or is this the intended behaviour?
Thanks for Help!

Environment:
Mac OSX 10.9.5
KSP 0.25.0
RealChute 1.2.5.2
I made a simple test vehicle (Mk1 Pod, Mk16 Chute in stage 0, FL-T200 tank, LV-T45 engine in stage 1) and let it fly.
Hit space (11:09:17) -> takeoff; hit space (11:11:22) -> nothing; hit space (11:11:28) -> chute arms and deploys. Log extract:

Pics?
That said, I'd try hitting alt+x on the chance that it's a trim issue.
That was it - obviously I had involuntarily set trim (didn't know what that does until now. Now I do...)
Some things are so easily found once you know what you are lookin for. ;-)
Thanks all for your help!

Hi all
I have a strange phenomenon: Im coasting from Kerbal to Mun with a simple ship. As soon as I disengage SAS, the craft starts rolling ever faster...
What could be the cause?
PS: I have the MechJeb-mod, could the Attitude Adjustment do something funny?
Thanks for your Help!
