  1. After ages of only messing around in the Kerbin system I finally made a ship (probe, really) to go check out other planets. Duna and Ike have no secrets for me anymore! I also sent a probe to Eve, but after time-warping to get to the rendezvous point the game crashed and the entire probe just vanished. Vanished! I think there might be an interplanetary version of the Bermuda triangle somewhere around Eve... No big deal for most of you, but finally reaching another planet is still quite an exciting achievement for me
  2. Dying shmying... I come here quite often (since I joined), but as you can see from my post count I'm really just lurking and reading most of the time. But especially for you I decided to post a lil' somethin' somethin'. To make it look a bit more lively
  3. I'm still pretty new and quite frankly, suck at docking. But I found an easier way to transfer fuel, using the grabbing unit (the claw). Make a ship that can carry some spare fuel and put a claw on it, then just fly into your fuel-less ship so you grab it. Fuel can be transferred through the claw into the other ship. Thats my main method of transferring fuel from craft to craft at the moment, until I become a bit better at docking
  4. Hi, I stumbled across KSP a couple of months ago I believe, it looked interesting so I bookmarked it, but left it rotting in my (quite humongous) list of 'interesting bookmarks' for quite a while. Last week I revisited it again and decided to buy it. I've been basically playing it every free moment I have since. I immediately threw myself in the career mode and quickly realized that this game is a lot more complex than it looks at first glance. Countless times I had to resort to google to find solutions to my problems, often getting referred to posts on this forum. And more than once solving a problem only created several new ones, something that seems to be common among KSP players. Like having an astronaut stranded on the mun, sending a rescuecraft to help said stranded astronaut, only to have the rescuecraft become stranded too and needing a second rescuecraft to rescue the first rescuecraft... Let me say it one more time.. rescuecraft! Anyway, finding myself chuckling more than once at familiar stories on the forums I finally decided to join the community. Most games I play(ed) have, to be frank, ....e communities; I'm talking about battlefield, league of legends, call of duty, ... But this forum radiates a welcome, 'cosy' athmosphere and I strive to become a productive (or at the very least not counterproductive ) member of this pleasant community. TLDR: Hi, I'm new, bye
