  1. I think I have found a solution to my problems. They seen to stem from the making history expansion, something in there is not playing nice when mods are installed. I'll miss the parts it came with. But at least i can use my mods and play the game!
  2. So, the game is freezing again on the loading screen. This time somewhere around one of the expansion parts, usually some moon banner. Sometimes it freezes on fail/failed01 or so, and sometimes on true/true01 or so. Only when i remove the mods i have installed will the game run. And i don't even have that much mods installed. Just Tarsier, DM Orbit Magic and a redux of stockalike stationparts. And I feel like the stock parts that come with the game are not enough to run a science game. I'm missing a few in between engines, and the techtree needs an overhaul. I hope with the next patch i can use mods again.
  3. I'm also happy that i can play the game again, with some additional mods installed. And via the Twitch app i can get updates to the mods i have installed, so I don;t need CKAN i think. however i seem to have some difficulty in getting some science equipment to the mun. reliant and swivel engine and the boosters are apparently not enough to get the payload to the mun. mostly because i want to return a science container with all the science stored. need them full science bits! not sure if it is the stock science tree, but i have the one size bigger (than the reliant and swivel engines) fuel tanks, but not the engines to match.... I know there are mods that add more engines, but i don't want too much mods to be running, as my laptop is a bit slow as it is... well back to the drawing board and see what i can do.
  4. So yesterday I decided to play some KSP and slowly add a few mods at the time, including mechjeb, and i've had no issues with booting up the game. Not sure what made it so i don't get stuck on the loading screen any more though.
  5. I have removed the science and apparently also had x science mod installed. Haven't been able to get the game running yet though. And i use the twitch thing to keep track of the mods. I used to just manually install them from Forge and the like. But via twitch it's easier to keep track of updates made to the mods. I will try to run the game again tomorrow and see what is what.
  6. Still have this issue, even after patch 1.8.1. only have 4 mods installed, mechjeb, scansat, KDEX and For Science! And only for science is not upgraded to the current game version. Any idea how to get past the issue?
  7. so, have seen some amazing mods @ Curse and i want to put some in my game, the problem is i have no idea how to do it. another space related game I play (Space Engineers) uses a Steam integrated Workshop. maybe Kerbal could support that too? because that would make it a lot easier for not so computertech-savvy people to integrate the Mods into the game.
