While I wouldn't call Uber a scam he does have a point. I was not particular impressed with what happened to PA. It succeeded in being a cool concept/premise but as far as the state of the launched version it has yet to become a good RTS game that was worth the money, at least for me. Just from that I will be waiting until I see the reviews before I throw money down for Human Resources. I attribute this dissapointment to having a lot of the time and energy that went into alpha/beta development to build an engien from scratch and dealing with all the problems that multiple spherical maps have. Because of this less time was spent on things like UI, Unit Creation and balancing etc that are really importent for a good RTS. I am hoping that this new team can use the groundwork laid by the PA team (as IIRC they are working in the same engine) as a leg-up to make Human Resources really good. From experience UberEnt is great at coming up with really good ideas for games and not so great at actually delivering a good game from it.
