  1. Was testing a new boat because this game is obviously designed for that, when I noticed there was an eclipse in progress.
  2. I say seperate Drill module, dedicated to, well, drilling, with a seperate lifter craft, plus Kethane tanks on the orbiter. Edit: My thoughts are that seperating the drill and lifter will make the lifter burn less fuel returning to the Orbiter, meaning less Kethane used to refuel it.
  3. While my modem died, I decided it was time to crack open KSP until I got a new one. Designed a miniplane with a 90% Survival Rate, shown here passing my flag. Escape pod I was designing to use with the S2 from B9. SAS wheels are either broken or replaced with snacks. Or both. They aren't effective without RCS. Here, Sigton, one of my favorite pilots, and Bob are standing around after a successful test on the current model (MK3). Here's a double test with 9 kerbals total. Most of them are in the forward pod. We were landing in the Antarctic pole of Kerbin. Most memorable ones were Melsel and Tomski. After that I reloaded a quicksave and stuffed them into the same pod. The one staring at the screen (Tomski) seems to want to eat my face. Unnerving. Bob and Sig a few KM away from KSC. Did I mention the pod reminds me of a camper thing? Final image, a shot of a plane I built.
  4. Got bored and made what was essentially four giant wings attached to a tiny ship, like what was not advised.
  5. Some indeterminate time ago, I was attacked by Krakens and crashed into the North Pole of Kerbin (I drifted into the pull of other games), was frozen for a couple years (Did non-KSP things for a long, long time), missed the Great Krakkening (I was unaffected due to going inactive so long ago), and have now thawed out (I'm back to do forum stuff, yay). So haider, forum people.
  6. Any food that packs an extreme heat and/or is hazardous to a Kerbal\'s health.
  7. It\'s a great read, these stories, and I like how you added an explanation for how they always \'survive\' their deaths.
  8. Wondering when this thread will get locked...
  9. Whatever, it still flew to the Mun! Even though the capsule was crushed by lack of parachute operation.
  10. In the possibly very short era of Crav\'s time as \'in the lead\'.
  11. The CTI responds to your challenge with our entry- The Diablo III, HM (Highly Maneuverable) variant, after firing all 9 missiles and depleting both railguns. Topped out at about 280 MPS. Actually got to 283, but couldn\'t screenshot fast enough. In fact... I just figured out I was going fast as a glider, and remembered this. Anyone faster than 300 MPS?
  12. Nice. The only time I got to the Mun was by building something as tall as a level 3.4 Flagship, by KSP RP standards, put 3 Large Bertha engines on it, point towards the Mun, and prayed. Then, I made it. Then, a few seconds later, I realized parachutes don\'t work without air. Attached below is images of a replica.
  13. Enjoy DO LIKE. ... Even though it\'s actually former DSI headquarters you flew to. Anyways, due to some derping around with C7 parts, I bring you... The Diablo III interceptor (Prototype stages currently, not armed yet), AKA CravTech Experimental-07. Somehow goes up to 1000 MPS in the lower atmosphere somehow, with the normal C7 engines, unedited, and loves to act as if there\'s a lower, more powerful half. Is quite maneuverable, surprisingly. It\'s launched from a base made of 2 decouplers and 2 construction fuselages, and lifted up by those two liquid fuel boosters to the sides. Made using C7, C7 Experimental, and JellyCubes\' C7-Ish pieces. NOTE: I\'m now considering putting two extra engines on to replace those two maneuverability wings.
  14. I used to have a dog named Stubby.... Anyways, nice rocket!
  15. The CTI presents it\'s first shuttle, also launched from a B.A.S.E. unit, light enough to land in ANYWHERE without any damage, the S-01 Igor. It\'s RCS clusters are so powerful, it can fly using JUST the RCS units, and act as a makeshift boat in emergencies! To land: Use RCS (Applies anywhere). WARNING: THE CTI IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR CRASHES CAUSED BY LACK OF RCS FUEL, PILOT SKILL/CREW, WINGS, OR RCS. Not yet for download due to all my .craft files being invisible (Someone help?).
  16. Are slightly config-edited engines allowed?
  17. That\'s easy. With stock parts even. You don\'t even need a Munar gravitational slingshot. Anyways, one of my higher speeds was 2500 or something similar using some C7 engines... though slightly modded...
  18. It didn\'t. It got into orbit.... And got stuck in space because the engine is so powerful.
  19. Eh. I spent like 5 minutes on the background. And I feel new still, joining the KSP community very recently, as well me being new to the whole building thing.
  20. I now present my CRV-X16 (CravTek Recon Vehicle Experiment 16) This craft features, an, admittedly, slightly modified engine. This variant, in particular, while missing the shocks, landing gear, or boosters, is armed with both Railguns and Missiles for deep offensive strikes. Jeb, however, complains that the railguns are too heavy, slowing him down. (And yes, the watermark was inspired by Syrsa\'s signature- I just had to.)
  21. The variant of spaceplane that got me into an unescapable orbit around the sun, farther out than Kirbin.... The prototype of the LongHawk (A jet I\'ll post later).... The X3 EU (Exploration Unit) ProtoHawk. (No download cause of technical difficulty) The thing actually surprised me when it got me out past the Mun, let alone farther out than Kirbin to the sun.
