  1. I have noticed a few tag lines that people have Xhundred hours played.... Is there a debug screen or such where I can see this? I'm new to the game so I'm thinking I have under 10...but I would like to track that. Thanks everyone! v
  2. Well, I guess if you call me kidnaping him from his Orbit, high over Kerban... then yea.. I'm a new player and I had been trying to learn the game by doing the contracts. it seems that I should go back to the safer training missions.. But today, after an unknown number of trys and a couple F5, F9, F9, F9 combos, I was able to get within 2KM of my wayward son. switched to control him only to see my craft SPEEEEEED by... ok..back to mission control, back to space ship.. lets null out the speed to target this time... Yep... ok F9...dialing into his orbit and matching speed, again within 2k.. swap, Jetpack on.. ..( did I mention i'm new.. I need jetpack time..) Fly past the ship at a high rate of speed. Swap my camera view... line up...and this time.....this time. I get to the ship. fumble for my latter and tapping F just because I know he is close.. FINALY!!!! I get the ladder and board. No longer must he fly high over the orb wishing he had something to eat or a place to use the bathroom.... I can't wait for the next version... I'm learning, but Man, I really need to get some jetpack time. v
  3. To follow back around.. I lowered my graphic settings to min.....and I have not yet crashed again... so, at least its somewhere in the graphics system.. perhaps?
  4. I have a mac Mini.. and yes I know the integrated video is not great. But I have SMC Fan control running and I get the same temp's playing minecraft with No issues. While I understand its easy to say temp, My computer is functional in every other way. I'll turn the graphics down.. But keep in mind.. This only happens when I go full screen. IF I take up the full screen in a window, it does not lock up.. that sounds like a programatic problem to me.
  5. I'll give it another go.. I don't know how long I left it. maybe 30 seconds.. Maybe more or less. But when I get into the Force Quit box, it shows "not responding" I'll search out Active Texture management. I already tried turning off a few of the graphics settings.

I can Command-Tab over to the other screen and force quit. All the while my system can be doing other things and the max temp i have noticed was 195F I think. But again, everything else is running, but KSP is locked up. In this last go I was trying to do the RT10 booster / splashdown test. But it has locked up on other flights as well.   8. Full Screen Beach Ball of Death. Have run a couple missions. My FAN program tells me 187F My KSP is locked up but I can cmd tab out and do other things.. I'm listening to a web simulcast and such. But KSP is toast.. I'll force kill it. Nothing really telling in the logs.. Is there another place to look?   9. By Stopping... do you mean the screen freezes and the beach ball of death spins? you can still cmd-tab out and force quit right?
  10. Good evening.. i'm pretty much a brand new player and I have started trying to narrow down an issue i'm seeing. I have a Mac Mini 2.3GHz i5 with 16GB memory. I'm running 10.9.5, fully patched and current. I just downloaded and started playing KSP Version 0.25.0.642 my issue only seems to happen in full screen mode and at random times I get the spinning beach ball of death and KSP screen stops updating. The computer is running fine and I can Command tab out to another screen.. The Tail of my Player.log is not much help it indicated nothing about a memory issue. i was going to post it here but I see when I restart KsP it refreshes the file. I'll attempt to lock it up again and get the log saved off. Flying pretty blind here so be gentle please. I'm happy to provide any other information. I love the game, but its frustrating being 4000~k from ground and the game stops.. making me Force Quit. Thanks in advance.
