I have a mac and use the Steam version of the game. I have a 2.9 GHz Intel i7 processor, and an Intel HD Graphics 4000 1024MB Graphics card, although I doubt that is the problem. In career and Science mode, I go to the Technology tree, and there is no way for me to research a new topic. I have watched a few videos, and they show a button that my game does not, notably, a "research" button. Am I missing something? I guess I don't really know how to proceed advance on the tech tree.
