This was from my last rocket. Stage 1: Capsule+Parachute+Escape tower Stage 2: RCS+ASAS+Fuel and rocket for deorbit burn Stage 3: Big fuel tank+1 rocket for orbit changing. Stage 4: Radial solid rocket boosters+3 tricouplers Stage 5: 10 rockets; 1 medium tank each. Stage 6: MORE TRICOUPLERS Stage 7: Radial solid rocket boosters Stage 8: 12 BIG HONKING ROCKETS and 1 medium tank each. My general theory is to change anything after stage 2 if I can make it better. Solutions are often more tri/quad/penta couplers and extra radial solid rockets.
