So I recently had some lesser Kerbals die after an SSTO discombobulated itself shortly after re-entry sending it into an irrecoverable flat spin, but that's not a problem, I can just hire more Kerbals and/or load a quicksave. However it's what happened after is my issue. I could enter one building but never leave, after browsing the forums I discovered Claw's fix of modifying my persistent files so that conflicts can't occur. I did this however it only partially worked. I can enter the Kerbal lounge, and only the kerbal lounge. I can exit it, but when I do I get stuck in KSC and I can't quit to main menu or select any menu options. This is after a fresh install with a changed .sfs Any help would be greatly appreciated. It'd suck to go from doing what I want to be doing, which is designing using and modifying SSTOs into something useful apart from a bus system into LKO, to having to do another fresh install and start again and get those ....... upgrades to the VAB and SPH which make them meaningful (This run-through I had every science object researched with ~2500 science and was still knocking about 750,000 monies).

can't enter/leave buildings anymore
Cybindis replied to Mundiver's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
I know this issue is solved and junk, but I've been having the same issue, tried the suggested fix and it got me partway there. Before I could enter buildings but couldn't leave. Now after modifying the persistent.sfs I have the kerbals who disappeared all sorted and I can now leave buildings... sort of. So what I've been doing is modifying the .sfs like in the post and then loading up and checking my recruitment centre to see if anything's changed, but now when I leave I get back to the KSC screen but the lounge music is still playing, I can rotate the camera, but I can't click on any buildings and the "Exit" button in the bottom right is greyed out and I can't click it. Should I make another thread about this or just stick this out here? -
Cannot resume saved game (Also crashes)
Cybindis replied to Cybindis's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
Shameless self bump because game is pretty much broken and semi unplayable due to no ability to play any saved game at all. (This always seems to happen to me on support forums ) Update: More woe has befallen me, my PC has majorly messed up, issues with the bios, freezing (potential HDD/RAM failure) and at the moment I can't see how I'm going to be able to reboot it/recover it as it freezes when I try to recover from windows disk. So I hope I've given enough information, and at the same time I hope I'll be able to fix it in some other way, if not I'll have to send it for repair, and most likely it'll be wiped and have windows re-installed, in which case this request will become somewhat redundant, unless it's used for a learning experience. -
Version: 0.90 Windows 64 bit Problem: Can't select "Resume Saved" for any saved games on the menu screen (Save files still in the folders), also infrequent crashes to desktop. Mods installed: http://gyazo.com/6e1171be2ddf071ce0cc3121fbd00535 MechJeb 2.4.2 KW Rocketry 2.6d KAS 0.4.10 Kerbal Engineer Redux 1.0 Station Science 1.4 Kerbal Alarm clock 3.2.3.0 Chatterer 0.8.1 Dmagic 0.9.1.1 Stage Recovery 1.5.3 (Up to date as of 30/01/2015) Description: Load game Select menu options until presented with "Resume saved" "Start new" etc. Can click "Resume saved" but it doesn't result in any action. (The crashes also happen randomly regardless of what action I perform, but it seems others are having this issue also so it's not as important) Logs: Output: http://www./view/f2ucf81cjtv8hc2/output_log(3).txt Save Persistent(Career): Apparently it's empty so I can't upload it to mediafire... Save persistent (Alternate game save): http://www./download/hf2466u3jco8l8j/persistent(3).sfs Quicksave(Career): http://www./download/7nq0xnf5xntnwmb/quicksave.sfs Crash log: https://www./folder/1xdt26ss1i8v1/Crash_Log (Excluding .dmp file as it was apparently empty and wouldn't upload) Settings: http://www./download/3652iq9gk6uis6i/settings(2).cfg Any help would be much appreciated as I'd finally managed to get a half decent SSTO working and was in the middle of mapping out a rather ambitious station in LKO

Staging not responding
Cybindis replied to Cybindis's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, unmodded installs)
Oh wow I thought my reply had sent. My bad. Yes, I deleted my settings.cfg and now everything's working perfectly. Thank you so much. Now I'm figuring out how to get to orbit Minmus and being let down that my probes cant transmit data, but that's not a technical issue, that's a gameplay issue for later in development! Thanks again, I've been whoring this game for however many days straight since it was fixed! -

That seems to have done the trick! Thanks a bundle! I can now spend countless hours engrossed in this game! -
Staging not responding

I tried loading in without alt tabbing and when all was loaded and I got into my game and loaded up a standard pod+srb it still wouldn't work if that's what you were getting at? -

Staging not responding

Shameless self bump I know I shouldn't but it's been 3 days and frankly I'm getting jealous of threads posted either today or yesterday getting 500 views and 23 replies just because their textures are a bit funny (Or stuff like that). Whereas I'm experiencing something gamebreaking (i.e. the complete inability to use the spacebar function), which is a shame because I reallyX10^29 want to get back to playing the game. I only played it for an hour but it was super fun. Now I'm sitting here depressed every day checking back. (I know it's early access and the team is small, but any help at all would be greatly appreciated). -
KSP Ver.: 0.25.0 - System: http://www./view/fx2jpx8k19s82ep/DxDiag.txt - Issue: Purchase and install yesterday (30/11/14), completely vanilla install of 64 bit. When I'm in career mode (Only played training scenarios and career so far) I cannot operate a craft by using the staging bind. The staging light flashes green, I'm 100% throttle and I press Space bar and nothing happens. I've tried changing the bind to something else and then back again but this doesn't solve the problem. I looked through the support forum and found an issue similar to mine and I tried the solution to that problem (pressing ALT+L) this doesn't help, when the light is purple I can't activate, then when I cycle again it returns to flashing green. In the tutorial all the staging worked perfectly using the bind and the staging light was solid green. Am I missing a bind, or have I pressed anything I shouldn't? (I tried starting a new career but this didn't seem to help). http://gyazo.com/f536150261050f48621d19feb55247a4 http://gyazo.com/b45035f8925671c82d65d2a75da106a7 (Images of my gamescreen) When I load into the launch screen there is the sound of rockets during the black loading screen, I'm not sure how significant this is, but I thought I should mention it just in case. So far I've had to manually control mission stages using the mouse, which means I can't complete the majority of contracts available. Update: I've played all game modes and the staging issue is the same, the only place it seems to work is in launch training. - Craft file: http://www./download/3v337my5kw9jbz2/Starter.craft - Save File: http://www./download/1vly97nawafvr5d/persistent.sfs - Output File: http://www./view/bcnfzbj360clhuy/output_log.txt
