Trying to do a returnable Mk2 SSTDuna Spaceplane with rovers as payload. The design just got bigger and bigger to carry more fuel as well more engines, wings, structures blah blah. alot more heavier with the about the same DV left after landed.. FAIL!

I had been busy with stuffs but managed to play some. [spoiler="Journey of learning new stuffs in 1.0.5"] Rebuilt my best Mk3 Cargo SSTO from 1.0.4, due to game mechanic changes the best orbit altitude is now unachievable. Lift became very insufficient for big heavy planes. [img]http://i.imgur.com/aFAT0Xw.jpg[/img] Suddenly found out de-orbit require new approach, 40 degree angle to bleed off speed left and right. Those wings seriously can't take the heat in 1.0.5! [img]http://i.imgur.com/68o1pa4.png[/img] Also rebuilt my favroute fly around planes. [img]http://i.imgur.com/HQGPGxg.jpg[/img] [img]http://i.imgur.com/6UtX5cl.jpg[/img] An experimental craft carried from 1.0.4, with accidental attach alignment that produce odd but rather well stability. [img]http://i.imgur.com/opsvaxy.jpg[/img] Took the effort to SSTDuna again. [img]http://i.imgur.com/YQV590c.jpg[/img] Ofcourse its in beta phase with quite a bad Center of Mass/Lift ratio after spent fuel nor any safety instruments. Not sure why i would land on the ground instead just let it orbit the planet with a chance to refuel and return home. [img]http://i.imgur.com/hjrxDZ7.jpg[/img] On a journey to test out a new SSTDuna varient end in disaster. 101% failure. [img]http://i.imgur.com/6ZckcXy.jpg[/img] To refresh my mind out of that SSTDuna failure, went to build an entirely new Mk2 Cargo SSTO, and is a well balanced one. But again deorbit requite big angle attack to prevent overheating.. dang. [img]http://i.imgur.com/PVolCCG.jpg[/img] Surely is about time to hit the bugs, SPH randomly became bright after a crash revert to hanger. [img]http://i.imgur.com/JVhLQZV.jpg[/img] I can even load multiple crafts at the same time, totally overlap each crafts. Meet my overpriced old classic V12 engine rover, with optional wings that can take driver to anywhere with a price of 300k. Test all the engines on varies planes then remake that Mk3 SSTM (Mun) spaceplane. Follow up my T50 PAK cruise around plane and other experimental planes. I ain't going to space much now on. Wanted to do FAR but mod is not exactly stable for me so scrap that idea. -

Build a base at Laythe - Transport a Mk2 plane and mining rig to Laythe, the plane will need to able to reattach for refuel. Bonus points if delivered Mk3 plane instead of Mk2.

Was just reading KSP forums randomly and saw that 1.0.5 HypeTrain thread. To think of it i never did HypeTrain craft because there's only one type of HypeTrain i like and is impossible to do it legitimately, but i went for it with Inf.Fuel cheat anyway because hype for 1.0.5 sake! It went to orbit, but by the exhaust trail can see it was going hyper crazy.

HypeTrain inspired by the good'ol Gif. Interesting we are excited with new technologies in real world the same way when KSP world gets new techs. I never like Inf.Fuel cheat but who cares this time! Hype for 1.0.5! -
Not doing alot as i thought 1.1 is round the corner. But that has been couple months, meanwhile i just build random planes designs and fly around exploring Kerbin. Trash the crappy experimental designs after session and keep few crafts that is fun if there's any. No alot idea for going to space at the moment.

Duna is the furthest i've been because it has interesting characteristics, is a foreign planet has air and stronger gravitation and easiest to reach. -

That one event short of 200 oxygen to land a Mk3 carrier reverse thrust on Mun. Also that one side of canard or elevon stops working randomly tilting my plane in stock game.. -
Did not go to space much month.

Installed Win10 and tested KSP on it. Works great and created something stupid (pic below). Also retiring all my previous aircraft, from now on all new aircraft will be based on FAR aerodynamics.

Played latest version BD Armory but sadly AIs still has no tactical strategy with the advantage of the planes capability, kinda hope future BDA will allow strategy/flight pattern programming. Wings got blown off in the fight - still in control

What brand of GPU do you use to play KSP?

I mainly game KSP on desktop PC which run with GTX680. But soon that will change, i'll be playing it on my 5-6 year old road warrior laptop powered by ATI Radeon Mobility 5770 1GB VRAM. Yes.. the thing has "ATI" printed on the GPU chipset. -
Started playing BD Armory mod for week now and made the War Plane, it was a weird fitting, stripped it and refurbished today. Mimicking the boss level of air fortress superiority i hope to use it as a practice target, with high amount Anti-Air, Anti-Ground defenses onboard. Too bad the AI can be sucks at flight path.

Turret gimbal is now authorized to use? How do you set it at 2 degrees in SPH? The increment number is 0 jump straight to 3. Ed: and yaw is 0 to 5. -

Round 16 - Realized missile timing problem after the tourny started but amazingly didn't expect 3 rounds of same pattern would happen. That CF-86 is a miracle. Round 19 - Looks like leaving max alt on default is a karma on first round. Lesson for everyone. Congrats to the winners, i can't wait to watch the finales -

Your's qualify as Semi-Mk2 size Lemme bring a proper Mk1 next time for the fair play I got 2 for the next tourny, might be my last attempt cuz i'll be busy next week.
